Update :)

Noah is doing amazingly well!

He's getting 1ml of breast milk every 3 hours and his body is digesting it really well!  His belly issues have almost resolved themselves.  He still has PDA/a great murmur but nothing to be done about it right now.

He's developed a hemangeoma on his belly but it's not detrimental other than a vanity issue, really.

We've been able to hold him just about every day arms he responds really well.  We are learning how to care for him more and more.  I am able to take him in and out of his isolette, change his diaper, change his pulse ox, take his temperature, bathe him, adjust the settings on his bed, rewrap him in his "nest" and I finally understand what wires do what and which numbers reflect which reading.

He had an occupational therapy review today and will start getting one on one therapy 3 times a week.  He's got great range of motion with all his limbs and head but needs to strengthen them and learn how to balance the difference between being in the womb and fighting gravity.  (That's a big deal when you're a micro preemie)

Overall, he's continuing to thrive.  God willing, he just needs to continue to grow stronger and pack on the pounds.

There are many challenges ahead and I pray we'll avoid the majority (if not all) of them.

Please pray for Greg and I - that we continue to communicate, rest, take it easy on ourselves and pray daily as the days get longer and our normal changes from minute to minute some days.

Most of all, please continue to pray for little Noah and his continued strength and good health. He's certainly making us very proud to be his parents!
